Joyous Celebration recorded and performed their brand new Joyous Celebration 24: The Rock in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions. Eric Moyo, winner of Idols Africa and now singing with the award winning choir has been singing here for five years and has learnt the craft of performance more than he could have ever imagined.
As he works on his on album and music, Eric says it has not been easy to survive within the year because of the lockdown and that COVID has taught him to "spend time in prayer".
In this double edition of the Joyous Celebration, The Rock, Eric performed a song titled Olonga Motema Nanga a Lingala phrase meaning "You have won my heart"
He is working on an album but could not disclose when he will release it but said "most of the music is already there".
